In 2002, Jennifer Lopez and actor Ben Affleck were a very famous couple in Hollywood. They broke up a few years after he inspired her album "This Is Me...Then," but during the pandemic, they got back together. They got married in 2022, and this made Jennifer feel inspired to write more songs.

"Some artists create music when they're feeling really sad and hurt, but I'm different," she said.

In the album "This Is Me...Now," there are songs that clearly talk about Ben Affleck, like "Dear Ben, Part II," which is a follow-up to a song from Jennifer Lopez's album in 2002. Another song, "Midnight Trip to Vegas," is about their wedding. Jennifer says she and her team wrote that song right after coming back from their wedding weekend.

Jennifer Lopez is making a movie called "This Is Me...Now: A Love Story." She's mostly funding it herself. It's like a long music video where she sings her new songs and dances like she did when she became famous.

In the movie, there's a story that keeps coming back. It's about Jennifer Lopez being someone who believes a lot in love.

"It's not really a book about my whole life," she said. "But in it, I do share a lot of personal feelings. I use things that have happened to me to help tell the story."

She found it hard to deal with all the attention, especially after how people in the media and the public responded to her past relationship with Affleck.

They acted in two movies together, Gigli and Jersey Girl, but both movies were criticized a lot. People in the media often used their combined names, "Bennifer," when talking about them, and the tabloids kept interfering in their relationship.

"I still feel really hurt by how people in the media have treated me," Lopez said. "But now, I'm older and wiser. I have to trust myself and do what feels right. Whenever I don't, things usually don't go well."
